Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Quintin was a keen and very talented sportsman. After completing his apprenticeship under one of the most respected teachers in the country, he accepted a position as Head Teaching Professional at the prestigious Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf club. After 4 years here, followed by 2 more with the Cranfield Academy in the UK, Quintin was offered a position to teach at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy (at DLGA La Cala) in February 2002. He viewed this as the perfect opportunity to further enhance his knowledge, experience the culture of another European country, as well as work alongside a dynamic new team. Quintin is now a fully certified Leadbetter instructor.
