I have an ATI All in Wonder 128 or 128 PRO capture card and need to obtain the correct drivers in order to use it with the V1 software.
These drivers are only for use with Windows 98 Second Edition. Windows 2000 and XP users must acquire the newer DirectShow drivers directly from ATI or from the installation CD.
V1 Professional versions 3.2 and 4.0:
The ATI All in Wonder 128 / 128 PRO video capture card is ONLY supported under Windows 98 Second Edition.
V1 Professional version 5.0:
The ATI All in Wonder 128 / 128 PRO card is supported under Windows 2000 and Windows XP using the Multimedia Center 7 application on the installation CD, combined with the newest available display driver available on the ATi website. http://support.ati.com
IMPORTANT: These instructions and drivers pertain only to Windows 98 Second Edition users.
In order to use this card with V1, you must download and install the correct drivers before starting V1.
You must first download the display and capture drivers from the links below. Please save these files to a folder on your computer. You may wish to archive these drivers for use at a later date.
ATI Rage 128/128 PRO Display Driver (4.12.6292) with Video for Windows support
ftp://v1home.com/support/ati/aiw128/aiw128_Display6292.exe (13.5 MB)
ATI All-in-Wonder 128/128 PRO Capture Driver (Multimedia Center 6.3) with Video for Windows support
ftp://v1home.com/support/ati/aiw128/MultimediaCenter63.exe (20.3 MB)
You must install both of the above drivers in order to use the All in Wonder 128/128 PRO card with V1.
Once downloaded, install the Display Driver first, then reboot the PC and install the Multimedia Center application. You must restart the computer again before using V1.
Installation instructions for the Display Driver and Multimedia Center application are included in the setup program. Please follow the installation instructions carefully.
If you are currently using a newer driver for your ATi All in Wonder 128/128PRO card, you will see a "Version Conflict: The file being copied is older than the one currently on your system. Do you want to keep the file?" message. If that message appears, you must select NO to insure that all of the correct driver files are installed. This message may appear during both the Video Driver and Multimedia Center installations.
(NOTE: That message may appear 20 times or more if you have a newer driver installed. You must click NO to every message)
Once you have restarted your machine for the second time, you should be able to use the All in Wonder 128/128PRO card with the V1 software.
