V1 Home Edition and V1 Golf Model Swing downloads

How do I obtain more videos for my V1 Home Edition or V1 Golf software?

To download sample videos for the V1 Home Edition or V1 Golf software, please follow the easy steps below. A Broadband Internet connection (DSL/Cable) is recommended.

  1. Visit http://www.internetgolfacademy.com and create an account for yourself using the New Member button. You must use a valid e-mail address for authentication purposes, and to receive notifications when swings are accepted and returned to you. We value your privacy, therefore your e-mail address will not be sold or distributed to anyone. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information: http://www.internetgolfacademy.com/privacy.asp
  2. Log in to the Internet Golf Academy using your e-mail address and password. The Internet Golf Academy should greet you when you have successfully logged in. If you experience any login problems, please check your computer settings and requirements against our minimum system requirements page: http://www.internetgolfacademy.com/settings.asp
  3. Open the My Locker section to view your locker contents. Your locker is your personal storage space on the Internet Golf Academy. When videos are transferred to the Academy for analysis, this is where they go. Analyzed swing videos are saved in your locker instead of being e-mailed, this saves mailbox space on your end. Analyzed videos can be downloaded from your locker to be saved locally on your PC for easy viewing when no internet connection is available.
  4. Click the Swing Library icon to view our list of authorized PGA professional swing videos.
  5. Select any of the videos you wish to download by checking the appropriate box, or by using the "Select all swings" feature. When you have selected the videos you wish to download, click the "Add selected swings" button to add these swings to your locker. Your browser will automatically redirect you to your locker, and you should see all the added swings listed.
  6. Close your browser window and start your V1 Home Edition or V1 Golf program. (V1 Golf users proceed to the "View your swing" section when the software starts).
  7. Use the Login icon to connect to the Internet Golf Academy through the V1 software. Use the same e-mail address and password that you used when creating your Internet Golf Academy account.
  8. Once logged in, use the GET button to see the contents of your IGA locker. The videos you moved to your locker will all be listed. To select a video to download, simply highlight it by clicking on it. To select multiple videos, hold the CTRL key on your keyboard as you click on the videos you wish to download. To unselect videos, click them again. Holding the CTRL key will also allow you to unselect one video while leaving the others highlighted. Once you have highlighted the videos you wish to download, click the "Download Swing(s)" button. A progress meter will give you an estimated time remaining for each video as it is downloading. Videos will be downloaded in the same order that they appear in your IGA locker window.

As each video is downloaded and unpacked, a "Save As.." window will appear. You can give the file any name you wish for easier sorting. Use the "Save in" window to locate the folder used to save your V1 videos, then click the Save button to save it.
